Optometrist

Dr. Amanda Montgomery grew up here in Mount Vernon Ohio. She was homeschooled through elementary and high school. After various life and job experiences, she aspired to find a profession that would enhance and change people's lives. After being introduced to the field of optometry and seeing the impact that good vision care makes, she decided to become an optometrist. She completed her undergraduate coursework at The Ohio State University and Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2011.

Dr. Montgomery is a member of the American Optometric Association and Ohio Optometric Association. Her optometric special interests include pediatric vision, contact lenses (soft and specialty), binocular vision and binocular vision therapy, and primary eye disease management. Dr. Montgomery is delighted to serve local Knox County and surrounding counties as an eye doctor and pediatric optometrist.
